I love the Blog. I just read through all of the archives. I especially enjoyed the pine chopping articles.
Quick question: I have read elsewhere that in general with the pines you don't want to remove more than 1/3 of the tree in one year. How do you feel about that rule of thumb?

I am working on my first pine. It is an Eastern White Pine, which I know isn't ideal cultivar, but it had a decent neberi and was only $8.
